Wānaka is lucky enough to have two great Youth riding options.

WORD is a national programme with a permanent presence in Wānaka. WORD runs after school and holiday programmes for children 7-17 years.

Bike Squad, run by Wānaka Kids Club, is a dedicated after school programme running in the warmer months. Perfect for smaller riders and budding shredders.

Run by a dedicated group of wahine, The Bike Wānaka Women’s social ride group head out almost every week, across a range of tracks. Connect to their Facebook group and get out there.
